Olympic Weightlifting Event

Event description

This is a non-sanctioned meet for ALL LEVELS. If you've been training in weightlifting or Crossfit, come out and test yourself in a fun, high energy and supportive environment. Singlets are not required. 


There will be two divisions: an advanced group and an intermediate/ novice group. Athlete will declare if he/she is intermediate or advanced when they sign-in on the morning of Aug 29th. This is all on the "honor" system and each individual athlete will have to determine wether or not they are intermediate or advanced. If you are new to weightlifting and never competed you might be intermediate, but if you have been lifting for a few years you might advanced. Ask you coach where you might fall if you are unsure.  

Top 3 for male and female lifters for both groups will be declared by Sinclair. Prizes will be awarded to winners for top 3 men and women in both divisions. 

Registration fee will be donated to the Purple Heart Foundation. Fee also includes meal and beer for participants. Spectators are welcome. 

Registration deadline will be Aug 24th. 

Day of: Athletes must weigh-in at 745am. Lifting starts at 9am.
